Step Away From The Snack Counter

7 Jul

I am going on my first date with my husband since my daughter was born…10 months ago.

Yes I know it is important to get our couple time, but not having grandparents close really puts the kibosh on going out much.

However, we have grandparents in town this weekend and me and my boy are going to a movie today!

In honor of our movie date, I thought I would share this frightening infographic from diettogo.

The facts are staggering and are enough to eliminate any serious temptation for popcorn. (ummm buttteryyyyy popcorn). NO! Sorry, not going there!

I may have to stare at this image until I am seated safely in my movie.

Have a great Saturday FitChick followers!

Saturday weigh in post to come later today.

First of all, I hope you’ll have a great time on your movie date. I haven’t been to the theater in ages. I can’t even remember the last movie we went to (Kill Bill?). When we go, I take a small popcorn but we don’t have the buttered version over here : you can only get them sweet or salty. But I guess that the amount of added sugar must be staggering as well. Scary to see the seemingly innocent portions and their equivalents (especially the reese’s cups).
