Happy Wednesday everyone! There was quite the nip in the air this morning on my way to work and I wanted nothing more than warm cup of coffee.

I am not a coffee or soda drinker by trade. I enjoy the occasional caffeinated beverage, but never succumbed to a daily addiction to the temptress we call caffeine.

Today however, as I sat at my desk with blue fingernails, warm liquids were calling my name.

I opted for a packet of sugar free hot cocoa with coffee as the liquid. Now I am a jittery headache ridden mess. I have no appetite for my lunch as I am very full feeling and some what nauseous. I think I OD’d on that delicious warm drink…

Note to Self:  Go for decaf hot tea next time…

Do we have any caffeine junkies out there or any other daily vices that you care to share?  Also do you have any decaf warm beverage ideas to share?

Wow, I have to say, that sounds delicious.
I usually drink a cup of coffee with a splash of milk each morning. In the winter, though, sometimes I like teas.

It was definitely tasty. I just need to sub decaf next time or go for tea. I obviously can’t handle the hard stuff. LOL

Total coffee junkie I admit. and I love every last drop. I don’t even understand decaf – haha so sorry wish I had some to share. A few ladies around love their decaf though.

That is me. I love coffee, the taste and smell. The caffeine I could totally live without. Although, I did love the energy it gave me just not the crash I got from my little trip on caffeine. LOL

I’ve certainly never been a Coffee drinker, but I do love my hot chocolate & pumpkin spice lattes in the Fall (only time I ever drink a latte!). However.. I do love AdvoCare’s SPARK drink (sugar free, caffiene about the amount of a cup of coffee) and I’ve discovered that it tastes even better and really kicks up the caffiene feel if you put it in hot water (almost like making instant hot chocolate!) as opposed to cold water. It’s my go-to!

Awesome! Thanks for the share. I liked the energy I got from the caffeine, but I did not like the jitters and headache lol

Every morning I make myself a double shot latte with unsweetened vanilla almond milk! Can’t live without it!

I used to be a huge coffee junkie. I loaded it with cream and sugar too. It was terrible for me and so I decided to drop the habit step by step. First I removed the cream and then a couple of weeks later removed the sugar. Never in my life did I think I could drink black coffee but I grew to love it. I cut back on my coffee intake next and it made SUCH a difference to me. Had my first cup of coffee in about a month the other day at work and was left a jittery mess. Hated the feeling and the coffee was definitely not worth it for me. I’ve decided that besides the occasional mocha protein shake I concoct, my coffee days may be over.

yeah I am going to have to go with decaf when I partake in the future.
