Kettlebell Tabata Say Whata?

As promised, I am sharing my kettlebell circuits/tabatas  with you all.  I have revamped my workout quite a bit since my last kettlebell post.

I have developed two  circuits instead of one so that I can mix it up and prevent boredom.  I also wanted to stop my body from becoming too accustomed to one set of exercises.

Just today I decided to change my interval times to ramp up the cardio aspect of the workout.  I was completing each exercise in 40 seconds with 20 second rest periods repeating for 2 cycles.  I changed the workout to 20 second exercise intervals with 10 second rest periods repeating for 5 cycles.

Those of you who don’t know me personally, do not know about my Excel addiction.  It is a sickness…it really is.  If I can create it in excel and chart and graph it…I do it.

As I have mentioned before, I use the GymBoss Interval timer for my workouts.  It is an awesome free app that allows me to get my Tabata on very easily.  It is really simple to move the exercises around, add and remove exercises as needed to keep it fresh.  I highly recommend getting an interval timer of some sort to maximize your workout efforts.  It pushes me beyond what I push myself just by counting reps.

    U ROCK:) Right now I am just running and following my half marathon training. I do squats, planks, and bicep routines every other day:)

      I love how you are JUST training for a half marathon. 😉 That is pretty rockin in my book. I am working on being able to do a plank. I want to do them so badly so I can cuss them for existing.

    I’m gonna have to google some of those exercises though because I don’t know what they are :/

      I wanted to post pictures of how to do all of the exercises, and I still might. They are however extremely easy to find online. It is a great tough workout!
