FitChicks and Indians…

28 Oct

The completion of another week and another month is upon us!  I can’t believe how fast time is flying.  I think sharing my progress with pictures and measurements, monthly, only makes time seem to pass faster.  Every time I get ready to compile my new monthly shots, I think surely there is not a noticeable difference…not enough time has passed.  However, every month I am pleasantly surprised by what I see.

Here are my updated comparison shots for month 5!  (Please pardon the dirty hair and no make-up.)

Pounds lost this week: 3 lbs

Pounds lost so far: 68.5 lbs

Current Weight: 265lbs

Inches Lost: 59.75 inches overall entire body

Decreased BMI: From 52 to 41

I managed 3 days of workouts this week…still not 4.  I am resetting that as my goal again this week.  I am not giving up on getting that extra day in, and I am determined to make it habit.

I did a lot of clothes shopping this weekend.  As you can imagine, I am running low on viable clothing options.  I finally found some clothes that I like, that won’t break the bank (since this current size is temporary).  While I was trying on clothes, I found something in the dressing room…my collarbone!

Here I am modeling one of my new outfits for the Hubs.

Who would not want to get with that?

After my modeling zoolander moment, we took Tink to a trunk or treat in our area.  The line was absurdly long to get in, and we really had no desire to bring candy home, so we opted to let her play run wild like maniac at the playground that was near by.  We ended up with some adorable pics of our little Indian Princess.

Hubs has an uncanny ability to photograph my double chin…

What challenges are you all trying to meet each week?  Are you meeting the goals you set for yourself?  If you have children (human and fuzzy) what were/are they being for Halloween?

Stay Strong and Keep Moving,

I had a lot of trouble coming up with something for Halloween. With her being so young, it is hard to really get into it. I found her costume at a consignment sale and made the headband. I love the pumpkin tutu idea! Had I not found the little Indian dress, Tink would have been something very similar.

      Janessa,

You are awesome! Thanks so much for the great message and encouragement! I just started following your blog. Lucky you living in Montana! It has always been a dream of my families to travel west and visit one day, and if we ever win the lottery, we are buying an unreasonable amount land and moving there!

Thanks for planking it up with me in December! I can’t wait for Saturday!
