If I Were You, I’d Take Precaution…

My butt hurts!!!!

No I am not nursing hemorrhoids, my butt has the deep muscle soreness from my wall sits, and I love it!  Today was the first really sore day that I have had.  I want that butt to get big and round, not be all wide and flat with that horrendous butt hump I was rocking.  Today is day 7 of the wall sit challenge .  Are you doing your wall sits?  Best get after them or be prepared to be jealous of my bodacious derriere in the coming weeks.

In addition to my wall sit, I decided to workout WOD style with my kettlebell.  Here is what I did:

180 Degree Ab WOD

I completed this WOD in 10 minutes.  It was a beeping intense 10 minutes.  Grunting and groaning ensued.  I am keeping that chain going, and  I am trying to mix it up to keep my body guessing and my mind from getting  bored.

    Dang with the wall-sits, you’re doing awesome! I was just thinking as I read this that I need to get back to my planks, I’ve been slacking & I really enjoyed them! Love the KB workout, looks like a winner, winner, chicken dinner 😉

      Thanks Katie!!! It was actually fun! I am going to do it again tonight. I know I have to get cracking on my planks again too. I am sure I have regressed on my time and I don’t want to be doing that!

    Dumb Question WHAT WHAT! 🙂 Is Kettlebells more of strength training? or do you consider it cardio?

    I really want to try kettlebells, but I’m not quite ready to invest in them. How did you get started with these? Did you take a class?

    I’m keeping my chain going! I have been doing squats, planks, and wall sits every day!

      I am currently using a 25# kettlebell. Started with a 15# in the beginning of this process, and slowly working my way up! So excited that you are using my workout!
