  • 318- what I weighed when I found out I was pregnant (should make this one hopefully this week)
  • 299-officially out of the God-Awful 300′s!
  • 275-What I weighed when I got married to my wonderful husband.
  • 250-Midway to being out of 200′s.
  • 235-What I weighed after 1 year of dating my husband.
  • 220-What I weighed when I met my husband.
  • 199-Officially out of the dreaded 200′s!
  • 185-What I weighed when I graduated from high school.
  • 160-My ultimate goal. I do not even ever remember weighing 160 unless it was in middle school on my way up in weight.

FINALLY!!!!  I feel like I have been chasing that 250 lb mini goal forever…For-ev-er….For-ev-er…For-ev-er!

Earn cool points with me by naming this movie…

This week I lost 5lbs!  This pushed me over the 250 hump to make my current weight 248lbs.  That makes a total loss of 84lbs since I started this journey in June 2012.  However, that is only part of the story.  My weight when I started in June was not my highest.  Like most women, my highest weight was when I was pregnant.  The day I went in to have Tink, I weighed in at 350lbs.  During my entire pregnancy, I avoided pictures like the plague.  I did not really look pregnant until the end and still it was just hugely fat with a side of pregnancy.

On August 19th (the day after my due date) at 1:00 am, I woke up to my find my water had broken.  Before we walked out the door, the hubs wanted to get a picture of me to seal that moment in time forever.  I reluctantly agreed because I was high on “baby is coming” excitement.  I made him swear that no one would ever lay eyes on those pictures.  Well, since this week’s weight loss has me down 100lbs+ from my highest ever weight, I am unveiling the one and only true full term pregnancy pics of me in existence…

100 lb difference

I have 88lbs to go before I reach my ultimate goal.  I am half way there, and I am more certain and determined than ever that I will make it.

Food is fuel. Be prepared to fuel up with good clean foods daily.

Sweat it any way you can get it.

This week, I will conclude the kettlebell post and will be sharing some more of my favorite recipes.

What are you doing this week to sweat it out?  Share some of your food prep tips and/or links to your fave recipes.

Stay Strong and Keep Moving,

AMAZING JOB, Lady! What a difference, and you’re doing it the way it will last. Yay! I lost 100 pounds after having four kids, and recently I’ve been inspired by you with your mini-challenges and your kettle bells. I actually took a kettle bell class this weekend because of you and my tush says thank you! Again, I love those before and after pics. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us all.

I just created those daily workouts myself and made that image in Photoshop. I will continue to post the various workouts I create and hopefully that will give you some workout inspiration. Let me know if I can help in any other way!

Amazing!! love your posts, so inspiring but so real too…not gushy gishy and fakey. Its hard to lose weight and be fit and you tell it like it is…but make it funny:)

Thank you so much Michelle! I appreciate the feedback and consider that high praise! It does not benefit me or anyone else to not be honest. It sometimes sucks and it is hard, but is so worth it!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! *Doing a mini happy dance for you!!* Is your calorie intake still the same or have you adjusted every time you’ve lost more weight?

    • fatchicktofitchick January 14, 2013 at 9:26 am #

My target is at least 1200 but max is 1500. Since my diet is relatively clean, I rarely have an issue pushing the 1500. If I am extra hungry on a workout day, I will eat more and push that 1500. I mostly listen to my hunger cues and just track the calories to make sure I am staying in an acceptable range.

    • fatchicktofitchick January 14, 2013 at 9:26 am #

      and thanks by the way!!!!

Congrats!! That is a huge accomplishment. You should be so proud. Can I ask what soup you have in the containers?
For me, I preppy my chicken breasts in the crockpot with salsa and also make a huge batch of oatmeal and green beans for the week.

    • fatchicktofitchick January 14, 2013 at 9:59 am #

      Thanks so much!

The soup is turkey taco soup (beanless). Recipe will be posted here tomorrow! It is a good one!
