Another Month, Another Update

3 Feb

Month 8 just came to a close for me, and I have to say I am chugging along like a freight train.  I think el b’s are dropping a little slower, and the pics are not as drastic between months, but I am feeling amazing.  The scale is still moving down, the clothes are still getting looser, and my muscles are getting stronger and more pronounced.  8 months in, I don’t think I could ask for anything more.

At this point, I feel like I can most definitely say that this is my lifestyle.  It feels normal to exercise almost daily.  It feels normal to keep tabs on my portions and calories, and I feel like I am being the best me by exercising self control and making good healthy life choices.  I am content with this “lifestyle”.  While I am not content with where I am weight and body wise, I am content in my continued progress.  I know it is merely time that stands between me and my ultimate goal.  All the hurdles and struggles that once stood in my way are now but distant memories of FatChick past.  I could lose my way again, but I won’t.  I just simply won’t allow it.  I am so happy and crap food and lazyiness be damned.  I won’t let myself be miserable again.

Now time for the monthly update and pictures!

Congrats on your accomplishments. I love the line “I won’t let myself be miserable again.” I feel the same way. It’s amazing what life feels like once food is not in control. Thanks for always sharing your story and coming up with motivational challenges for the month.
