Caution: Fat Chick Lurking

My mom and dad came into town this weekend for a visit with us Tink and we had a great time.  I let my fat chick off her leash a little while they were here.  I maintained control on the portions, but the quality (health wise) of the food I was eating, was well a little lacking.

Sandwich and chips, steak kabobs and rice, biscuits and sausage gravy (homemade by my mom!) and the pièce de résistance…Taco Bell Hell.

I was down a pound on Saturday morning making my total el bees lost a whopping 92!  All and all it was  good relaxing and indulgent weekend.  Mom and dad loved spending time with Tink and they ooo’d and ahhh’d over mine and hubs progress.

They got up and headed back to the grand old state of Arkansas Sunday morning.  I rested until about noon, and then I got my food prepping on.  This week brings Taco Soup (AGAIN) for lunch…seriously did not get my fill last week, and philly cheesesteak  stuffed bell peppers with cauliflower friters, and baked sweet potato fries for dinner.

Those recipes will be coming later this week…I promise!  I am playing catch up on some over-promised and under delivered recipes tomorrow.  Watch for Mexican Casserole, Mexican Coleslaw, and Sweet Potato Meatloaf  Bake all in one post tomorrow.

    Awesome job on 92 lbs lost! Sometimes you have to let the inner fat girl out. Also, I made a semi-healthy crunch wrap supreme last week for my boyfriend, found on pinterest. I bet you could skinny it up! I can send you the link if you want.

    wooo! 92 lbs is AMAZING! I’m sure your pit stop at Taco Hell is barely a speedbump since you watch portions. Great strategy!
